Our Business

Fusion Metal Works has been in business in the Laurens, Greenville, and Greenwood area since 2007 and was formed into an Limited Liability Company in August of 2009.

Fusion Metal Works LLC is a fully outfitted and fully capable mobile welding service offering repair welding and fabrication utilizing either: SMAW (stick), GMAW (MIG), FCAW (Flux core), or GTAW (TIG) processes.

We specialize in industrial welding repair of mechanical and hydraulic loading dock systems, metal stair ways and handrails; heavy equipment welding repair, conveyor systems, entrance gates, ducting and ventilation systems and specialty projects.

Fusion Metal Works, LLC is a Member of the American Welding Society (AWS)

OSHA 10-hour trained and compliant in Construction Safety and Health





Who We Are

 Tony Amos / Owner and Manager

Tony is a 20+ year veteran of the United Stated Marine Corps. During his career he specialized in logistic operations and management, heavy duty diesel engine and power-train component maintenance and rebuild. He held many leadership positions such as Drill Instructor at Paris Island SC, Company and Battalion Level Senior Maintenance Supervisor, Instructor at Motor Transport Maintenance Instruction Company and Instructional Management School, Company Gunnery Sergeant and Company 1st Sergeant for 2nd Recon Battalion.

Post retirement: Tony completed an Associates Degree in Occupational Technology, with Honors, at Greenville Technical College. He majored in General Technology, Specializing in Industrial Tech. He earned 3 Welding Certificates covering Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), and Flux-Core Arc Welding (FCAW) on carbon steel plate and pipe, stainless steel plate and pipe, and Specialized Welding.

In addition to owning and operating Fusion Metal Works, LLC, in August 2012, Tony began and is currently teaching the welding program at Piedmont Technical College as an adjunct Instructor.
